The Story of Our Taiko Experience (from KYOTO)— So Far
Taiko · 2026/02/05
Hello! I’m Michie, an operator at EE Tour. And I have a confession to make… I’ve recently fallen completely in love with taiko drumming. Not just a mild interest. Not a passing “this looks cool” phase. I mean so hooked that, before I knew it, I was guiding guests on our taiko drumming experience tour. It’s been about a year and a half since EE Tour started offering the TAIKO: Japanese Drum Experience, and by the end of last year, we had already welcomed around 150 groups.

TAIKO!!Wonderful Experience (from KYOTO)!!

I participated in a Japanese drumming experience hosted by EEtour and it was incredibly enjoyable. The sense of unity as we all created music together was an amazing feeling and something truly unique to Japan. It was enlightening to learn that taiko drums have been deeply intertwined with Japanese life since ancient times . Despite being Japanese, I wasn't aware of this until now. I believe that taiko drumming is a wonderful experience for people from abroad.

5 selected hidden places in Sagano area, KYOTO
KYOTO · 2025/01/09
Natural art created by autumn leaves and moss. The contrast of red and green is outstanding and fantastic! It is away from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto. You can enjoy the tranquility and nostalgia in Sagano area. Sagano literally means a field of Saga. Emperor Saga built his villa here. The area is a hidden gem, and it has several old temples and a town preservation center using an old merchant house.
